MAGNESIUM INHALATION AND MUSCLE CRAMPS
Almost everyone has experienced muscle cramps at some point. Muscle cramps are generally harmless but can be very bothersome and sometimes quite painful. During a muscle cramp, muscle fibers contract involuntarily. Cramps can occur anywhere in the body, often affecting the extremities where muscles are less well-perfused. Besides the outer muscle groups of the body, cramps commonly occur in the calves due to frequent use of these muscles. The exact cause of muscle cramps is still unclear, but a possible cause could be a deficiency in minerals. Additionally, muscle cramps can be caused by nerve damage, neurological issues, diabetes, thyroid disorders, fluctuations in body temperature, disrupted fluid balance, medication use, reduced blood circulation, and pregnancy.
