Magnesium Inhalation and Diabetes
Diabetes is also known as sugar disease. Diabetes Mellitus (Mel meaning honey) is characterized by blood sugar levels that are so high that the kidneys are no longer able to reabsorb all glucose. Diabetes Mellitus can be caused by hereditary disorders. It can also result from other conditions, injuries, immune diseases, or disruptions in hormonal balance.
There are two main types of diabetes mellitus: type 1 (insulin-dependent) and type 2 (non-insulin-dependent). Type 1 diabetes usually develops in individuals younger than forty years old. Because the condition often begins in youth, it is also called juvenile diabetes. Type 2 diabetes usually develops in overweight individuals after the age of forty and is often referred to as adult-onset diabetes.
