Magnesium Inhalation and Autism

Autism encompasses several diagnoses: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Classical autism, Asperger syndrome, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PPD-NOS). In individuals with Autism, information processing in the brain differs from normal. Autism is a congenital condition. Autism disrupts sensory processing. All stimuli come in equally hard and are difficult or impossible to filter. People without autism can shield themselves from light or sound they don't need. In people with autism, everything comes in, which causes a lot of unrest in the head, which is why people with autism benefit greatly from structure and clarity. There is so much in their head already!

The cause of Autism is still unknown. It is known that there are hereditary congenital factors.

Treatment

A deficiency in magnesium may be due to a genetic defect in magnesium transport to the cells, a mutation that can result in reduced intracellular magnesium levels.
According to Robert Burn, director of the Autism Center in Llanelli, when considering autism, we should not only think about gene therapy but also broaden our view to consider the role of magnesium in the prevention and treatment of autism.
Magnesium inhalation is preferred for autism. Inhaling ensures the highest magnesium absorption and is therefore most effective.

In the case of epilepsy, we do not recommend magnesium inhalation.

Recommended Sessions

The Magnesium Clinic recommends using magnesium inhalation once a week for 2-3 months. Through evaluation forms that you fill out at home, we assess the benefits of magnesium inhalation for you and discuss any progress with you.
It is also recommended to use magnesium at home through transdermal absorption (absorption through the skin).
