MAGNESIUM INHALATION AND PERIODONTITIS
Periodontitis is a difficult term for advanced gum inflammation. In periodontitis, not only the gums are inflamed, but it extends to the gum line and the underlying jawbone. The inflammation is caused by bacteria. The bacteria in periodontitis reside in dental plaque and can multiply there. In severe cases of periodontitis, the gums can even detach from the teeth and molars. In the space that is created, plaque can form again where bacteria thrive, deepening the inflammation. Typical characteristics of periodontitis include:
- red, loose, and swollen gums
- bleeding gums
- receding gums
- bad taste in the mouth
- bad breath
